The Home of Life & Nutrition is in San Andres, Sajcabaja is located in north central Guatemala, the northern most country of the 5 Central American countries.
San Andres is a 5-hour trip from Guatemala City, with the last 22 miles taking more than an hour to traverse over very rustic mountain roads. The town of San Andres has 2,700 inhabitants, mostly Mayan Indians who speak a dialect of Quiche that is one of the 22 Mayan Indian languages spoken in Guatemala.
The children's home is in the southeast corner of town.
